An unroasted, lightly oxidized (10%) Qingxin green oolong from Shanlinxi that is a pure celebration of the craft. The aroma of the dry leaves takes me right back to the factory during production—that clean, fresh, unmistakable scent of tea being made that brings back so many memories.

In the cup, the broth is crisp yet deeply mouth-coating. It’s a dynamic tea with serious range: if you steep it mild and quick, it’s a bright, lovely green oolong that starts out savory and vegetal with just a slight hint of bitterness before finishing with a crisp, refreshing sweetness. But if you push the leaves or steep it heavy, you’ll get an intense, espresso-like concentration that green oolong lovers will obsess over.
